Today, October 10, marks World Mental Health Day—a reminder of the struggles others cannot see, and the times we said “I’m fine” while barely getting through the day.
Everyone has a story we do not fully know, pain they may struggle to express, and battles they fight in silence. We may smile, work, and see others while needing someone to listen.
We have the right to feel tired, ask for help without shame, and speak openly about what hurts. We also deserve the time and support we need to heal.
A kind word can ease someone’s day. Listening can help them feel less alone. Let’s be gentler with ourselves and others.
To anyone going through difficult days, we wish you comfort, caring company, and more peaceful days ahead.
Take care of yourselves
