1000 Km Under Israeli Control in Gaza Lebanon and Syria

A report by the Financial Times revealed that Israel has seized nearly 1,000 square kilometers of territory since the outbreak of the Gaza war on October 7, 2023 — half of it in southern Lebanon, while the other half is divided between Gaza Strip and Syria.

In Gaza Strip, Israeli forces continue expanding westward and now control around 65% of the territory’s total area, following their takeover of large parts of Rafah, Khan Younis, Beit Hanoun, and Gaza City.

In Syria, Israeli forces advanced deeper into southern Syria, particularly after the fall of the Assad regime on December 8, 2024, especially in parts of the Quneitra Governorate.

Meanwhile, in Lebanon, Israel significantly expanded the scope of its control following the return of war on March 2, 2026, and now imposes near-total control over more than 50 southern villages, alongside further advances into dozens of other villages and towns.
