How should you act if you encounter Shibani, the Iranian?

Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the Iranian ambassador in Beirut will remain at the Iranian embassy in Lebanon, disregarding the Lebanese government’s decision and treating it as non-existent. It also claimed that a small group of individuals who protested outside the #Iranian_Embassy, calling for Shibani to stay, represent the entire #Lebanese_people.

In reality, however, the majority of the Lebanese people believe in the state and follow its institutions, not any external authority. They recognize the government and its decisions and abide by them. In other words, what the people truly want is respect for the government’s decision, and they do not wish for Shibani to remain in Lebanon—especially given that he represents Iran, which, through its axis and its arm Hezbollah, has dragged Lebanon into its current state of war, destruction, devastation, killing, and crises.

Therefore, it would be better for Iran to stop defining what the Lebanese people want and do not want. The street alone decides, and it is represented through the majority of national frameworks and institutions.
