With robots and toxic gas Israel traps Hezbollah in Ali Al Taher  

Israel has deployed robots and remotely operated vehicles while pumping toxic gases into the tunnel network beneath Ali Al Taher hill, as part of an operation aimed at tightening the siege on Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard members believed to be inside the underground complex.

Advancing from a rear axis east of the Kfar Tebnit crossing, Israeli forces moved toward the foot of the hill before sending robots ahead to survey the area and locate tunnel entrances without directly exposing soldiers to danger. At the same time, drones dropped explosive materials as forces carried out clearing and demolition operations around tunnel openings and movement routes.

The operation is focused on a large military complex inside the hill, consisting of underground passages and facilities linked to Hezbollah’s Badr Unit. In recent weeks, the area has become one of the main focal points of Israeli ground operations in southern Lebanon
