U.S. urges military to get “creative” in striking Iran

In the latest developments between Iran and the United States, the U.S. Central Command has reportedly asked its officers and military experts to propose “creative” and unconventional ways of dealing with Tehran.

But what does “creative” mean in a war that has already seen nuclear sites struck, senior figures assassinated, major weapons deployed, and severe economic pressure imposed?

Whatever happens behind closed doors, the wider region continues to pay the price—especially Lebanon, once again dragged into devastation by Iranian, American, and Israeli calculations.

Creativity may be valuable elsewhere. In war, it is dangerous. Whatever the next plan may be, Lebanon must not be the one to pay for it
