No Signal at Hadath Campus

Students at several faculties of Lebanese University’s Hadath campus have struggled with weak or nonexistent Alfa and Touch coverage for years, predating the latest war.

Some spend up to 12 hours on campus, unable to reliably contact family or seek help in emergencies.

Despite high fees, poor coverage persists across Lebanon’s state-controlled mobile sector. Israeli attacks worsened network problems, but the campus crisis reflects years of neglect by the Telecommunications Ministry, operators and university administration.
