Lebanon is preparing to launch new maritime routes departing from the Port of Jounieh toward Cyprus, Syria, and Turkey, in a move that reconnects the Lebanese coastline with the Mediterranean Sea. The ferry service will operate regular trips between four regional destinations, with a capacity of up to 350 passengers per journey.
Ticket prices will start at $95 to Larnaca, $135 to Latakia, and $165 to Mersin, Turkey. The new maritime route will directly connect Jounieh with Larnaca, Mersin, and Latakia through a regional transport network.
The ferry’s seating will be divided into two sections to accommodate different passenger needs and budgets. The main deck will offer easy accessibility and comfortable onboard services, along with a dedicated space for food and relaxation. Meanwhile, the upper deck will provide more spacious seating and a quieter travel experience with open sea views.
