Day after day, Israel continues to claim more victims in Lebanon, particularly among medical and emergency response teams. The latest was Civil Defense paramedic Kamel Youssef Zein from the Sahmar center in the Bekaa, who was killed in an airstrike near the Qaraoun Dam yesterday while attempting to rescue a wounded man who had previously been targeted while riding a motorcycle in the same area.
What is certain is that this attack was no coincidence. It cannot be separated from the سلسلة of crimes committed by Israel, nor from its policy of carrying out double strikes on the same location in order to maximize casualties — with paramedics and rescue workers often becoming the victims of the second strike.
