The Mount Lebanon Criminal Court issued an in absentia ruling sentencing George Dib, known as Dr. Food, along with several other defendants, to life with hard labor after convicting them of dru*g trafficking.
Last year, an in absentia arrest warrant had already been issued against Dib over charges related to the manufacturing of drugs and smuggling them outside Lebanon.
