After ban court allows CNN Politico and MS now back into the white house

A U.S. court has restored White House access to CNN, Politico and MS NOW, days after Trump barred their journalists and revoked their passes over coverage he called “fake news.”

Federal Judge Timothy Kelly found that the ban was likely unconstitutional and ordered the passes restored while the case continues. The court also said the government had not provided enough evidence to support its later national security justification.

The dispute goes beyond three news outlets. As the White House excludes journalists whose coverage it dislikes, it has launched “Trump TV,” a 24-hour channel carrying presidential speeches and content selected by the administration. Together, the moves have raised concerns about restrictions on independent reporting and greater White House control over what reaches the public.

For now, the court has halted the ban.
