A Student Contacted Avichay to Strike her School in Choueifat

A single message was enough to trigger a security alert today outside Choueifat National College, after a 13-year-old student sent a message to Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee, claiming there were weapons inside her school and requesting that it be bombed.

Her friend became aware of the message and informed the school administration, which immediately took action and notified security authorities. A patrol from the Internal Security Forces arrived at the scene, and both the student and her father were detained before being released pending investigation under the supervision of the relevant authorities. It was later confirmed that no weapons were found inside the school.

The incident coincided with the first day of the return to in-person learning, as the student reportedly did not want to go back to school.
