+400 road accident deaths in Lebanon since the start of the year

More than 400 people have lost their lives on Lebanon’s roads since the start of 2026.

Speeding, phone use while driving, and poor road conditions continue to make daily travel increasingly dangerous.

In just three days of a September crackdown, Internal Security Forces recorded 7,352 traffic violations and impounded hundreds of vehicles.
