Lebanon’s 2027 budget significantly expands tax collection, with projected tax revenues rising by more than 20% in just one year.
VAT alone is expected to account for around 39% of total tax revenues, while most taxes will come from consumption and trade.
Taxes on real estate and some companies are also set to increase, as total spending reaches around LBP 614 trillion.
