After the ceasefire Israel takes control of 10 more towns

Israel has expanded its control in southern Lebanon since the ceasefire, adding 10 towns to its map of incursions and fire control: Kfar Tebnit, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Beit Yahoun, Braachit, Haddatha, Aita al-Jabal, Haris, Majdal Zoun, Al-Mansouri and Buyout al-Sayyad.

Eight towns have witnessed Israeli incursions, bulldozing and building demolitions. Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Aita al-Jabal remain under fire control from surrounding Israeli positions, restricting movement without a permanent military presence.

The latest expansion saw Israeli vehicles enter Haris, cross the “yellow line” and bulldoze a road. Operations then extended to Buyout al-Sayyad, where homes were burned and buildings demolished. New positions and barriers are also being built in Zawtar al-Sharqiya, Arnoun and Yahmar.

These actions go beyond isolated ceasefire violations, creating a new reality by expanding Israeli control and linking strategic positions and roads. Each new point could later become part of negotiations over withdrawal and security arrangements.
