Beirut Port is entering a new phase of digital transformation with the launch of electronic payment services just days before the sixth anniversary of the August 4 explosion that devastated large parts of the port.
Port fees can now be paid electronically through Neo by Bank Audi, OMT, Whish Money, BoB Finance, MTM/Ria, and NetCommerce, following the completion of system testing and the official rollout of the service.
Six years after the blast, the move carries significance beyond technology. It places Beirut Port within Lebanon’s broader shift toward digitising public institutions, while improving services and strengthening governance at one of the country’s most important economic facilities
