New driving license fees have been introduced under a standardized system across driving schools. The new mechanism evaluates each applicant’s skill level before determining the required number of training hours and their cost.
Under the new system, the final cost varies according to the evaluation result and the type of vehicle used for training. A fixed fee of LBP 1,350,000 has been set for the evaluation session, along with a cap on retraining costs in case of failure. The system also regulates several procedures related to the driving test and the choice of vehicle used for the exam.
