Today, Fadel Shaker was acquitted in one of the cases filed against him, after the Beirut Criminal Court, headed by Judge Bilal Al-Dannawi, issued an in-person ruling clearing him in the case brought by Hilal Hammoud, a former member of Hezbollah’s Resistance Brigades, 11 years after the lawsuit was first filed.
However, Fadel Shaker’s acquittal in this case does not mean that all charges against him have been dropped, as other cases remain pending before the military court.
