Thirteen years after the Abra Clashes, testimonies delivered by three brigadier generals from South Lebanon Intelligence reshaped the case surrounding Fadel Shaker, denying his military involvement with Ahmad al-Assir or any role in financing his armed group.
And as Shaker’s image inside the courtroom shifted from “the accused” to “the victim,” the hearing was postponed until June 23 pending a final verdict.
